ADDAC System Expands its Lineup to Include Two New Creative Utilities: Stereo Chain Router and Standalone CV2 Expression
New ADDAC809S enables CV-based stereo routing of signals, while ADDAC005 facilitates simple CV-based I/O with effect pedals
Lisbon, Portugal, April 13, 2026 — ADDAC System announces two new creative utilities designed to extend CV-based possibilities in musical expression: the ADDAC809S Stereo Chain Router Eurorack module, and the ADDAC005 Standalone CV2 Expression. The ADDAC809S is the stereo version of the 809 Chain Router, while the ADDAC005 enables a simple and straightforward means of connection between CV signals and effect pedals with TRS inputs.

The ultimate tool for routing stereo CV signals
With the ADDAC809S Stereo Chain Router, users are able to route any stereo source - audio or two CV signals - through two different chains of one or more modules to a direct stereo output.
In practical terms, this might involve having an audio source, a delay and a looper. With the Stereo Chain Router, the delay could be placed before or after the looper, depending on the creative application. Through the ADDAC's flexible internal routing matrix, no external re-patching would be required.
The unit features intuitive buttons including 'Bypass', 'Parallel (A+B)', and two 'Series' buttons that manage the order of the routing and whether they should be dual, or single signals. For application flexibility to accommodate your specific patch, the ADDAC809S' inputs accept either audio or CV signals.

CV to Expression in a small footprint
Meanwhile, the new ADDAC CV to Expression (ADDAC005) allows intuitive connectivity
between CV signals and expression pedal TRS inputs on effects pedals. So instead of connecting an expression pedal directly into an effects pedal, a user can use this device in
between a CV source and the effects pedal that is to controlled. This is a great way to control the available parameters on the effects pedals straight from a CV source, effectively automating outcomes based on the CV it is receiving.
The CV to Expression features 2 inputs, a 3.5mm jack for Eurorack and a 1/4’‘ jack for larger format synthesizers, as well as an attenuator knob and a 1/4’ jack output. Since it is a passive device, the power needed for operation is taken from the effect pedal via the TRS power pin - this allows for perfect matching of the pedal’s operating voltage which can range from 3.3v to 9v.
From Portugal with Love
The ADDAC809S Stereo Chain Router and the ADDAC005 Standalone CV2 Expression are available now, and priced at €190 and €70 respectively. For more information, including specifications and signal flow diagrams, please visit the ADDAC System website.
